What did I think of these films?

I review some films

I'm not a movie crittic nor do i have any profesional knowlage about films, but below is what I think about the last films I have seen so far in the cinema recently.

Star wars episode III(3)

Yawn! this film was so boring that I nearly fell asleep, who would have thought that a film with so many special effects could be so boring? not me thats who. The plot was hard to follow, and for some reason the armies didn't follow the command of the leaders but instead they all followed "the dark side". It did fill in the gaps between the old films and the new ones, but I recon anyone can make a film if George Lucas can.

Wallace and grommit: the curse of the ware rabbit

Yes!! By far the best film this year(well that I've seen so far) Full of funny jokes, smutty inuendoes and some quite touching bits at points. The plot followed well, even if some of the gags were so obvious that they were comming, and the characters were all fantasic. I really hope they make another one or two or five, assuming the quality stays fantastic.

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire

Another good film, even if some of the plot didn't make much sense. Apparently many of the things that weren't answered in the film were answered in the book, but the film doesn't have as much character development, especially as we now know the characters. The film has a lot more jokes in it than the pervious films, even if they are from the warped sense of humor that I have, well read bash.org or just swap the word "wand" for "wang" when you watch it and see if you don't laugh a the line "whats got your wang in a knot" and the classic "you're allowed your wang".

Bar the plot issues a good 8 / 10

Keeping Mum

A fantastic film from start to end, full of smutty below the belt jokes and lots of inundoes even though you see some of the gags coming a mile off, but it's still funny right through to the end. But it's a 15 so it's not really one to show the family if you know what I mean. There are no plot fillers wasting film time, it's nothing but comedy all the way through. Highly recommend watching it.

Fun with dick and jane

A good funny film, however it was lacking in some areas. I found that there were a few scenes in which the actors tried too hard to be funny(the lift scene, it's been done before). However on the whole it was a very good film I recomend going to watch it. It's a film about a family that get caught up in a company going "belly up" and end up turning to a life of crime.

Final Destination 3

A dark side of funny film, If you've seen Final Destination 1 or 2 then basicly its exactly the same as them. So in short it's just a film laughing at unusual deaths, and people trying to cheat death, by playing the guessing game. Poorly scripted due to the fact that safety systems wouldn't be disabled that easily, but good for a few dark laughs.

Aeon Flux

A good film with pleanty of special effects, some parts were plain freaky and other parts were cool. Had some good actors in it(you know what I mean), and it also had some iritating as shit actors (the black guy, sorry dont know his name). Had a nice twist to it, and as any typical American film, it has to have a goodie/baddie that changes sides, from the point of view of the main character. Otherwise a generally good film, but not the best I've ever seen.

Lucky number Slevin

A good film with a complex plot, or at least it is until the very end where the main character explains what happens and why. Nice twist too, I didn't expect that to come. Well writen plot, meaning it keeps you on your toes. Some funny moments, even though its not a comedy film. The thing you expected to be no relevance to the plot was actually the main reason for the whole thing. One last thing, she was eager wasnt she?

Inside man

A film with more than meets the eye. This film has very deep thoughs about those concerned in the film. The first time you see it wont make much sense. Very serious issues delt with, as a result no commic moments, which I like. Characters are very deep. Well though out plot, Very confusing, keeps you on the edge of your seat.

The Davinci Code

Well it might get good reviews from everyone else but no here I go with a honest real guys opinion of The Davinci code. It starts off being shit and generally gets shitter as the film goes on. Speaking of going on it really does drag on for far too long, About 2 hours too long I'd say. I like the puzzle thing but the whole "I can see into the past of Issac newton" was really dumb, and seemed very "The mummy returns". The whole thing is based upon a painting so the evidence is no where near accurate. The whole plot seemed very jumpy, at first it moved fast until they got to that posh guys place then it went slow, then not much happened until they were back in Britain. BTW I could see that she was going to be the desendant all the way through, seeing as it's the typical film plot.

Miami Vice

A very complex plot. There I said it, it's the most complex plot of a film I've seen in ages. The film started off with something that felt completely irelivant to the plot and slowly tried to fix it. The film moved onto things that seemed to make no sense, it was like watching two different films in some parts. I understand that theres a backstory to each film, but it made no sense to have two FBI agents shot down and then have some police agents go round the world on as many different forms of transport as possible. Once the film got "going" I felt myself Screaming on the inside. That chineese woman just really fucked me off. Many parts were so predictable that I felt myself betting with myself(stupid I know) to find out what will happen. I find in these films the "partner/wife" attribute completely unrealistic. I couldn't wait to leave the cinema.

James Bond in Casino Royale

Basic Bond, thats what I liked about it. None of this hi tech gadgets or long car chases. Nothing too fancy, but just cold hard action. It's actually the first Bond film I've seen in the Cinema, and surprisingly I was quite entertained by it. Most Bond films follow the same old plot, just differnt villians, in different places, trying to take over the world in different ways. Daniel Craig just isn't Bond to me. As far as I'm concerned the new boy still isn't quite good enoough yet. The plot made up for that though, as it was far from predictable.
