The review of The Nags Head
Is Del Boy in the nags head? No, not this oneNo not the one in Peckam London, but the one in Wrexham.
Description
The Nags head is a medium sized pub on the bottom of Mount Street in Wrexham. The Nags head offers drinks and food to customers, that do not want to be bothered by the scallys that visit Witherspoons. Although there are many pubs in Wrexham, this has quickly become our favourite because of high recomendations from the locals.
Benefits
The Nags Head is located in the centre of town and as a result is very useful for private taxies. There is also a carpark round the back so that a designated driver can easily park without having to use a public council run carpark.
The Nags Head serves food until quite late on. So Ideal for those nights you want to have dinner and drink all in one night, it also means that you don't have to leave the building, so you don't get wet.
The Toilets are very clean.
All tested drinks are on offer with no problems(Red wine, Guinness, Carlsberg, Strongbow, Martini and something, Reef, J2O and soft drinks).
Some good and some bad
Due to the popularity of the Nags head, it can sometimes be difficult to get a seat. However there are seats in the conservatry area. These are further away from the bar.
There is a large screen telly in the Nags head, however the choice of program is usually up to the bar staff.
There is usually light entertainment in the form of a raffle, pub quiz or kareoke.
There is also a ATM machine located in the Nags head, however this charges the account holder a small fee, it is expected to be arround 50p.
And the just plain ugly
The toilets are very small, only just enough room to turn arround, and the lightbulb is usually broken.
There is no jukebox in the Nags head, so that meant no music to listen to.
